Where a love of the mountain painting began. The powerful beauty of the Engadine continues to be a muse for my artwork; the stunning mountains and ever-changing landscapes of this Swiss alpine paradise was the centre of my art practice for many years. It is here that my interest in the juxtaposition between figuration and abstraction really took off, with an interplay between geometric and organic.
